The 2026 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education (ICAIE 2026) was successfully held in Taicang, China from May 13 to 15, sponsored by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Centered on the theme of Syntegrative Education Empowered by AI: Personalization and Gamification in a New Era of Learning and Interdisciplinary Integration, the conference gathered scholars, industrial practitioners and postgraduates from over 20 countries worldwide.
The conference consisted of keynote speeches, seven thematic tracks and seven special sessions covering personalized AI education, gamified learning, entrepreneurship education, engineering education and other hot topics, journal editor-in-chief meeting, campus visit, and workshops.
All properly presented papers are compiled into IEEE conference proceedings for EI Compendex and Scopus indexing. Serving as a vital global exchange platform, ICAIE 2026 boosted cross-border academic cooperation and inspired future research on AI-enabled educational transformation.
